Frequently Asked Questions

  • Great question—and one I get all the time. First, TED isn’t interested in your story. They’re interested in an idea worth spreading. If your story contains a universal takeaway or a new way to solve an old problem, that’s your “idea worth spreading.”

Start locally. Visit TED.com and search for events in your area. Apply to speak. And remember: it’s not about you—it’s about how you can change someone else's life. (No pressure.)

  • I love that you asked, but right now I’m not ghostwriting jokes. However, you can get my feedback for free every Tuesday on Instagram Live. Show up, click the mic, bring me your half-baked ideas, and I’ll turn them into comedy gold. (Or at least something you can test at your next open mic.)

  • Nope. Not at the moment. I’m focused on writing, performing, and coaching group events. But I’ll be offering group coaching, workshops, and retreats—subscribe to my newsletter to be first in line.

  • Easy. Just click here to contact me or schedule a call. We’ll chat to see if I’m the right fit for your audience. Every keynote I do is custom-crafted to meet the goals of your group. No cookie-cutter stuff. Just connection, comedy, and something they'll actually remember on Monday morning.

  • Great events don’t start with a keynote—they start with a conversation. Here’s an article I wrote: How to Find the Right Speaker for Your Event. I always meet with my clients in advance so you’ll have 100% clarity and confidence. (Spoiler: I’ve never been a “maybe.”)

  • I get asked this every week—seriously, 35 times a week—and I wish I could. But no, I don’t have the time. I’m busy writing my own material. (Hashtag #SelfishWithMyTime.) Want feedback? Come to my Instagram Live Tuesdays.

  • Absolutely! Some of my favorite workshops have been in China, Russia, and Muscat, Oman. I’ve coached using a translator, and it turns out laughter doesn’t need subtitles.

  • Yes, if they’re interactive. Mine include contests, audience participation, and prizes. I’m not just talking at you—I’m engaging with you. I’ve become an expert in Zoom-room laughter.

  • It depends on the event, location, format (virtual or in-person), and whether you're a nonprofit. Let’s talk about what you need, and I’ll give you a quote. (And yes, I do give “French Riviera” discounts if you're hosting a convention in Cannes.)

  • I used to be a magician. Yes, seriously. My first gig was pulling rabbits out of hats before I pulled jokes out of therapy sessions. Comedy is the real magic trick.
