It's like speed dating, but for jokes. In this fast-paced, interactive Zoom workshop, you'll rotate through quick one-on-one sessions with other comics, punching up each other's material. You'll walk away with sharper jokes, fresh bits, and maybe the writing partner you've been looking for.
What you'll work on
We'll play with three of the most powerful tools from The New Comedy Bible:
The turn: set up an expectation, then flip it for the laugh
The mix: combine two unexpected ideas into something funny
The act-out: bring your joke to life instead of just telling it
Who it's for
Stand-ups, storytellers, writers, speakers, and anyone who wants more laughs in their material. New or experienced, you'll get something out of it. Just bring a few jokes or ideas you want to make funnier.

Before the workshop, please read page 116 of The New Comedy Bible where I explain the turn, mix and act-out.
